The British Museum Qirqisäni Mss. by 0. Margoliouth (London). Only one opinion can be held on Dr. S. Poznanski’s article on the above-named subject in the ״Steinschneider Festschrift“ (foll. 195—218). It is an exceilent piece of work, and bears additional testimony to its author’s learning, acumen, and industry. In my present remarks I only aspire to Supplement, as far as I am able to do so, Dr. Poznanski’s instructive Information, so as to eomplete the account of Qirqisäni’s works in the British Museum Library. Ii) Besides the portions of the כתאב אלריא<ן ואלחדאיק contained in Or. ^492 (Pozn. f. 214), the British Museum also possesses a large fragment of Qisqisäni’s lengthy introduction to the same work. The Ms. in which it is found is Or. 2557 (see ״Descriptive List of the Hebrew and Samaritan Mss. in the British Museum“, p. 26), the fragment in question occupyiny foll. 1—12. The writing used is an Arabic Naskhi of the Xlllth Century, but the!:lebrew quotations are written in the Hebrew character. The title (fol. Ia) is: תפסיר בראשית ללקרקסאני רצי אללה ענה, JF01. 12, which is mutilated, ends
