Армии, в 1919–20 военком 1-й Тульской, затем 48-й стрелк. див. С 1922 пом. Гл. воен. прокурора, с 1923 нач. Гл. упр-ния милиции НКВД РСФСР. В 1924–25 зав. подотд. в отд. печати ЦК РКП(б) и сектором периодич. и подписных изд. Госиздата. Возглавлял об-во «Прочь руки румынских захватчиков от Бессарабии». В 1926–28 зам. полпреда СССР в Литве (Каунас), в 1928–30 уполномоч. Наркоминдела при Совнаркоме ТуркмССР (Ашхабад), в 1930–31 ген. консул СССР в Мешхеде (Персия). С 1932 зам. зав.
