Учился в амер. школах и на курсах в ун-те Бостона. Лит. деятельность начал в 1915 (стихи, рассказы и ст.). В 1918 издал в Бостоне сб. рассказов на англ. яз. Публ. в амер. радикал, период, изд. С 1921 сотр. газ. «Форвертс» (Нью-Йорк), где напечатал ряд рассказов, ром., сер. очерков, объединенных образом еврейской девушки в Америке. Автор пьес: «Дер фердганев» («Конокрад»), «Ди зибете эвеню» («Седьмая улица»), «А битерер тоэс» («Горькая ошибка») и др., поставленных на амер. еврейской сцене. Погиб в авиац. катастрофе.- identifier

In 1918 he published a collection of works in Boston. stories in English. lang. Publ. to Amer. radical, period, ed. Since 1921 sotr. gas. Forverts (New York), where he published a number of short stories, rom., Ser. of sketches united by the image of a Jewish girl in America. The author of plays: "Der Ferdganev" ("Horse thief"), "Di zibete evenyu" ("Seventh Street"), "A biterer toes" ("Bitter mistake") and others, staged on the Amer. Jewish scene.
