РАПОПОРТ Арон Ильич (ок. 1865 – ок. 1920, Лодзь, Польша), общественный деятель, предприниматель. Получил традиц. еврейское религ. образование, занимался оптовой и рознич. торговлей. В 1890-е гг. поселился в Пензе. Здесь ок. 1900 стал пред. Пензенской еврейской религ. общины и старостой синагоги. До кон. 1917 еврейская жизнь города связана с именем Р.: открыты первые еврейские школы, собрана большая б-ка, устраивались общегородские вечера и спектакли, создана компания «Помогающие бедным» для устройства евреев, приезжающих из черты оседлости.
