ЛАЗЕРСОН Макс (Максим) (наст. Имя Матетиягу) Яковлевич (1887, Митава Курляндской губ. – 1951, Нью-Йорк), правовед, политический деятель. В 1916 окончил юрид. ф-т Петрогр. ун-та; в 1917 служил в Мин-ве внутр. дел Врем. пр-ва. С 1920 в Латвии, преподавал в Коммерч. колледже в Риге. В 1922–31-х гг. – деп. латв. сейма от сионист, раб. партии «Цирей-Цион». После ареста в 1934 выехал в Э.-И., где преподавал в Школе права и экономики в Тель-Авиве. С 1939 в США – служащий Мин-ва юстиции и проф. Колумбийского ун-та; сотр. в Ин-те еврейских проблем. Науч. тр. посвящены теории и истории права, еврейской истории, междунар.-правовым отношениям.
