Подольской губ.В 1847 в К. О. проживало 182 еврея, в 1897 – 1530 (62,9%), в 1923 – 1528, в 1939 – 1258 евреев (27,3%).В 1889 в К. О. действовало 3 синагоги. Осн. занятие евреев в 19 в. – торговля.Летом 1941 К. О. заняли части вермахта. 20 сент. 1941 более 2 тыс. евреев были депортированы из К. О. в Дубоссары (совр. Дубэсарь) и там расстреляны.В К. Jahrhundert - Handel. Im Sommer 1941 besetzte KO Teile der Wehrmacht. 20. September 1941 wurden mehr als zweitausend Juden von KO nach Dubossary (heutiges Dubasar) deportiert und dort erschossen.
