КАНЕВ (Каневский) Ицхак (1896, Мелитополь Таврической губ. – 1989, Тель-Авив), организатор здравоохранения, полит. деятель. В 1917–19 учился в ун-те Симферополя. Один из организаторов движения «Ге-Халуц» в России, соратник И.Tpyмпельдор|Tpyмпельдора]]. С 1919 – в Э.-И. Работал с.-х. рабочим. В 1920 году участвовал в обороне поселения Тель-Хай в Галилее от нападения арабов. В 1923 избран в исполнительный к-т орг-ции «Купат Холим». После завершения образования в Вене и Лондоне ответственный сотр. по иссл. в обл. соц. Здравоохранения в Купат Холим. В 1947 основал Ин-т соц. иссл. при проф. объединении Гистадрут. После образовав Гос-ва Израиль занимался созд. схемы соц. страхования и соц. обслуживания. С 1957 по поручен пр-ва разрабатывал схемы комплексного мед. страхования. Er arbeitete mit.-kh. Arbeitskräfte. 1920 beteiligte er sich an der Verteidigung der Siedlung Tel Hai in Galiläa vor dem arabischen Angriff. 1923 wurde er in das Exekutivkomitee der Kupat Holim Organisation gewählt. Nach Abschluss seiner Ausbildung in Wien und London wurde der verantwortliche sotr. durch Forschung. in der Region. Sozial Gesundheitswesen in Kupat Holim. 1947 gründete er das Institut für Soziales.
