ГЕРШОВ Соломон Моисеевич (1906, Двинск Витебской губ. – 1990, Ленинград), живописец, график. В ранней юности жил в Витебске, был знаком с М.З.Шагалом. Учился в Минском худ. уч-ще у Ю.М.Пэна (1919–21), в 1921–24 в худ.-пром. техникуме в Петрограде, в 1924–28 во ВХУТЕИНе, где входил в состав возглавлявшегося П.Н.Филоновым коллектива «Мастера аналитич. иск-ва» (до 1927). В 1928–58 жил и работал в Москве. Участвовал в офиц. выставках, в 1970-е гг. прошли две выставки в Грузии, персональные выставки состоялись в 1987 и 1988 в залах ленингр. СХ.
