GERSHOV Solomon Moiseevich (1906, Dvinsk, Provinz Vitebsk. - 1990, Leningrad), Maler, Grafiker. In seiner frühen Jugend lebte er in Vitebsk, war mit M.Z. Shagal vertraut. Studierte in Minsk Kunst. U. M. Pen (1919–21), 1921–24 im Kunstball. Technische Schule in Petrograd, 1924–28 an der VKHUTEIN, wo er Mitglied des Kollektivs unter der Leitung von PN Filonov „Masters of Analytic. Kunst “(bis 1927). In den Jahren 1928 bis 1958 lebte und arbeitete er in Moskau. Hat am Offizier teilgenommen. Ausstellungen in den 1970er Jahren. Zwei Ausstellungen fanden in Georgien statt, persönliche Ausstellungen fanden 1987 und 1988 in den Hallen von Leningrad statt. SCH. GERSHOV Solomon Moiseevich (1906, Dvinsk, Vitebsk province. - 1990, Leningrad), painter, graphic artist. In his early youth he lived in Vitebsk, was familiar with M.Z. Shagal. Studied at Minsk art. Uch-shche at YM Pen (1919-21), in 1921-24 in art-prom. technical school in Petrograd, in 1924–28 at VKHUTEIN, where he was a member of the collective headed by PN Filonov “Masters of Analytic. art ”(until 1927). In 1928–58 he lived and worked in Moscow. Participated in the officer. exhibitions in the 1970s. two exhibitions were held in Georgia, personal exhibitions were held in 1987 and 1988 in the halls of Leningrad. SH. ГЕРШОВ Соломон Моисеевич (1906, Двинск Витебской губ. – 1990, Ленинград), живописец, график. В ранней юности жил в Витебске, был знаком с М.З.Шагалом. Учился в Минском худ. уч-ще у Ю.М.Пэна (1919–21), в 1921–24 в худ.-пром. техникуме в Петрограде, в 1924–28 во ВХУТЕИНе, где входил в состав возглавлявшегося П.Н.Филоновым коллектива «Мастера аналитич. иск-ва» (до 1927). В 1928–58 жил и работал в Москве. Участвовал в офиц. выставках, в 1970-е гг. прошли две выставки в Грузии, персональные выставки состоялись в 1987 и 1988 в залах ленингр. СХ. Осн. работы: «Вечер» (1936), «Женщина в красном» (1938), «Освобождение Западной Белоруссии» (1941), серия «Дорога жизни» (1950-е гг.), «Варшавское гетто» (1969), «В старом Витебске» (1971), «К Шолом-Алейхему», «Евр. танец», «Суббота» (все 1973), циклы «Шагал в Витебске» (1974), «Микеланджело», «Рембрандт», «Филонов», «Малевич», «Бетховен», «Моцарт» и др.
