He graduated from the 4th course of the Odessa Institute of grain and flour technology. From 1933 he worked at the Kovrov arms plant. In 1937 he created and headed the Special Design Bureau No. 16 of the People's Commissariat of Arms. Created the world's first automatic grenade launcher (1938). Joint. with M.N. Baburin developed the 23rd Aviation. gun MP-6 - the first owls. Aviation cannon with automatic sight on a short stroke of the barrel, put into service in November 1940. Decorated with hordes. Lenin (1940). Arrested in May 1941. Shot.

Совм. с М.Н.Бабуриным разработал 23-м авиац. пушку МП-6 – первую сов. авиац. пушку с автоматич. прицелом на коротком ходе ствола, принятую на вооружение в ноябре 1940. Награжден орд. Ленина (1940). В мае 1941 арестован. Расстрелян.
