Favorite type of creativity - scenography, designed the performances: "Rigoletto" and "Tosca" (Belarusian Opera and Ballet Theater, 1935), "Straussian", "London Slums" B. Shaw (Moscow Satire Theater, 1950) and others. in thin. exhibitions. Scenery sketches for performances are in the State. Russian Museum, Saratov art. museum, Altai Regional Museum (Barnaul).

Учился в Казанских худ.-тех. мастерских (ок. в 1921), ВХУТЕМАСе (1921–26) у Н.И.Фешина, И.И.Машкова, В.А.Фаворского. Излюбленный вид творчества – сценография, оформил спектакли: «Риголетто» и «Тоска» (Белорус. театр оперы и балета, 1935), «Штраусиана», «Лондонские трущобы» Б.Шоу (Московский театр сатиры, 1950) и др. Постоянно участвовал в худ. выставках. Эскизы декораций к спектаклям находятся в Гос. Русском музее, Саратовском худ. музее, Алтайском краевом музее (Барнаул).
