IOFFE Dina (real name Nadezhda) (|, Vilna - 1943, Treblinka), publicist, literary critic, historian. She graduated from lit. Faculty of Vilnius University. She specialized in the history of the Jews of Lithuania and Poland. In 1937 she published the work "Pogrom in Dolginov in 1886", research. “The fight over the will of the Vilna Heb. philanthropist of the early 19th century. " and "Baptism of minors at the beginning of the 18th century." Author pl. ist. issled., to-rye publ. in different Heb. ed. The archives of the IVO in New York contain a manuscript of her work “First Hebrews. women in the fight for ped. vocation". During it. occupation I. worked on sorting book. and archival materials collected by the Nazis in the building of the Vilna IVO. At the request of the Gestapo, together with Izv. linguists Z. Kalmanovich and G. Gordon translated the grammar of the Sov. the linguist E. Falkovich, as well as other works with Yiddish in it. language. She died in a concentration camp.

Kalmanovich und G. Gordon übersetzten die Grammatik des Sov. der Linguist E. Falkovich sowie andere arbeiten mit Jiddisch darin. Sprache. Sie starb in einem Konzentrationslager.

В 1937 опубликовала работу «Погром в Долгинове в 1886 г.», иссл. «Борьба вокруг завещания виленского евр. филантропа начала 19-го ст.» и «Крещение несовершеннолетних в начале 18-го ст.». Автор мн. ист. исслед., к-рые опубл. в разн. евр. изд. В архиве ИВО в Нью-Йорке хранится рукопись ее работы «Первые евр. женщины в борьбе за пед. призвание». Во время нем. оккупации И. работала на сортировке кн. и архивных материалов, собранных гитлеровцами в здании виленского ИВО. По требованию гестапо вместе с изв. лингвистами З.Калмановичем и Г. Гордоном перевела грамматику сов. языковеда Э.Фальковича, а также др. работы с идиша на нем. язык. Погибла в концлагере.
