In 1934–40 he was imprisoned. In 1949–55, Ch. ed. Publishing house polit. and scientific. literature of the Lithuanian SSR. Since 1955 - at the Department of Political Economy of Vilnius Pedagogical University. in-that. Translated into lit. lang. K. Marx's "Capital".

ФОГЕЛЯВИЧУС Беньяминас (1907, Рига – 1962, Вильнюс), редактор, переводчик. Окончил юрид. ф-т Каунасского ун-та. С 1932 – в Компартии Литвы. В 1934–40 – в заключении. В 1949–55 гл. ред. Изд-ва полит. и науч. лит-ры ЛитССР. С 1955 – на кафедре политэкономии Вильнюсского пед. ин-та. Перевел на лит. яз. «Капитал» К.Маркса.
