In Gneiger former boring Operations at a depth of 60 metres- (undertaken by the Jewish National Fund) have been discontinued and new operations begun. In Tel Adassim a volume of 50 cubic metres per hour has been found. In Moshav Balfouria a volume of 90 cubic metres per hour was found at a depth of 60 metres. In Kvutzah Misra minor quantities of water have been reached and boring operations are continuing. The same applies to Kvutzah Merhavia. In Moshav Merhavia a depth of 170 metres has already been reached and operations are continuing. In Kfar Gideon, Kfar Baruch and Sarid further prospecting is being carried out. The Table and the attached map furnish a comprehensive view of the position of the water supply in all settlements in the Western Emek (Afuleh and Kishon blocks). The " Gilboah " Company has not yet started operations as negotiations are still in progress with the settlements. It is hoped that the negotiations will soon be concluded and operations will accordingly be begun. Table 12.
