in Gt. Britain and Ireland—Mesdames Eder, Epstein, Irwell, Sacher, Sieff and Stein. Dr. Klompus undertook a tour to Transylvania, while Mrs. Goodman visited also Spain and Portugal. Mrs. Grubwieser (Secretary for Organisation and Propaganda) visited France, and Miss Gudansky, B.A. (Executive Secretary) undertook propaganda work in Gt Britain and Ireland. Mesdames Ehrenfeld (Holland), Reiter (Transylvania), and Dr. Lichtenstein-Rappaport (Austria) also carried out propaganda tours. Written Propaganda.—Pioneers and Helpers was issued, during the period under survey, in ten numbers in German, nine in English, six in French, and three in Yiddish. Provision has been made for the publication in future of a Hebrew number. The Press Service has been developed; material for press publication has been circulated at short intervals. A series of " New Suggestions " for propaganda, cultural work and fund-raising was also circulated. Particularly valuable was the material issued in connection with the " Mothers' Day " campaign on behalf of the K.K.L., and a " Discourse " on Zionism compiled by Mrs. Grubwieser. A new edition of the illustrated pamphlet Towards New Shores, prepared and edited by Dr. Nadia Stein, was published in English, German, Yiddish and Spanish. A new illustrated leaflet and a new series of postcards depicting WIZO work also met with much success. The old still-film has been further enlarged and the WIZO film made during the last session has been widely used. 265
