S. Wechsler, Meyer W. Weisgal. YUGOSLAVIA. The Zionist Federation of this country is a Territorial Union, which comprises all Zionists in the country with the exception of the Revisionists. There are no territorial organisations of the Separate Unions. Both the General Zionists as well as the Left groups are organised in our Territorial Union. There are no members of other parties. The Federation consists of 106 branches. Meetings have taken place in 171 places. The last Annual Conference took place in May, 1935, and was attended by 108 delegates. It elected Dr. Alexander Licht (Zagreb) as President of the Federation, Dr. Friedrich Pops (Belgrade), Dr. M. Levi (Sarajevo), Ljudevit Korodi (Novi Sad), Leon Kamhi (Bitolj) as Vice-Presidents, and the following members of the Executive in Zagreb : Dr. Marko Horn, Dr. Beno Stein, Dr. Drago Rosenberg, Ivo Hochsinger, Dr. Joel Rosenberger, Rikard Kohn, Zvonko Hirschl, Dr. Hugo Kon, Dr. Ziga Neumann, Shalom Pajtash, Rosa Hacker; the Conference also elected Dr. Marko Bauer (Zagreb) as Chairman of the Keren Kayemeth, and Dr. Leo Steindler (Beograd) as Chairman of the Keren Hayesod. The Conference adopted a unanimous resolution expressing confidence in the Executive of the World Zionist Organisation and appreciation of its considerable success, and called upon it to continue its activity along the same lines as hitherto. It welcomed the efforts of the Executive to enlist the co-operation of all constructive elements in the movement, and acknowledged 243
