Charifai, of Tel Aviv, Rabbi Fajans, of Bialistok, Rabbi Milikowsky, of Jerusalem, Mr. M. Mushkat, of Riga, Mr. Simon Rosenbaum, of Tel Aviv (formerly of Minsk), Rabbi J. J. The activity of the delegates is referred to under the respective countries. Our staff of delegates has been reduced by Dr. Hugo Herrmann, who has removed to Palestine, but is continuing to co-operate with Head Office, and by Messrs. L. J. Taubman and Baruch Zuckermann, who have passed on to other Jewish spheres of public utility. The Board of Directors thanks these gentlemen for their devoted and fruitful services. Among the new delegates and those who have taken up the work anew are Dr. Israel Auerbach, J. Blumberg, Rudolf Jonas, Dr. B. Kontorszcyk and Dr. B. Weinert, whilst Mesdames Ida Bension and Sasia Erlich, and Messrs. N, Graiver, A. S. Juris, W. Latzky-Bertholdi, M. Shenderai and Dr. Benzion Shein undertook temporary missions. Five officials left the Head Office during the period under review, but new appointments kept the staff up to the former level of twenty. Propaganda. Most of the publicity material of the Head Office appeared in Hebrew, Yiddish, English, German and French; some of it was likewise issued in Dutch, Italian, Hungarian. Roumanian and Polish. The demand for The Jewish Village necessitated a second edition of 12,000 copies in English and German, whilst Tel Aviv was reprinted in German in 8,500 copies. No less than 200,000 copies of these two pamphlets were distributed altogether. The richly illustrated leaflet Where Children Rule was published in Hebrew, Yiddish, English, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Roumanian, Czech and Polish in 50,000 copies. We are Building, sl two-page leaflet, with a Palestine map on one page and a succinct survey of Keren Hayesod activities on the other, ran through a first edition of 25,000 copies in Hebrew, Yiddish, English, French and German, and through a second one, to the number of 12,000, in English, French and German. Haifa, a multi-coloured, lavishly got-up booklet, with a map of Haifa, was first issued in Hebrew, English and German only, in 10,000 copies. In the autumn of 1934, a second and revised edition was called for in Hebrew, Yiddish, English, French, German, Roumanian and Hungarian, 25,000 strong, which is 127
