Jerusalem. The Commission has submitted a proposal to the Executive to enlarge the Archives into the central Archives of the Zionist movement and Organisations and of the Yishuv in Palestine. The negotiations for the carrying out of this scheme of enlargement are still going on. The Director of the Archives has, in conjunction with the Propaganda Department of the Jewish Agency in Jerusalem, made a compilation of the resolutions of all Zionist Congresses and meetings of the Council of the Jewish Agency as well as of the decisions of all meetings of the Zionist " Jahres-Konferenz," the Zionist General Council, and the Administrative Committee of the Jewish Agency. The question of the publication of these compilations is still under discussion. Literary works that have been prepared either partly or wholly on the basis of the material of the Archives and published since the last Congress, are as follows : 1. M. Medzini, Zionist Politics, Tel-Aviv, 1934. 2. A. Bein, Theodor Herzl, Biographie (Hebrew, Tel-Aviv, 1934; German, Vienna, 1935). 3. H. Seibt, Kolonisation m Palaestma (Disertation, Leipzig, 1934). The officials of the Archives have been entrusted by the Palestine Executive with the issue of the weekly German edition of the Palestine Correspondence and of the Information Bulletins of the Executive of the Jewish Agency for Palestine. The Director of the Archives is Dr. G. Herlitz, who has an assistant. 90
