to be removed in the interests of the movement's purity and legality. After careful consideration, the Executive published on March 7th, 1934, the following statement : " In reply to numerous enquiries, the Executive of the Zionist Organisation desire to state the following : 1. In pursuance to the verdict of the Zionist Court of Honour of January 5th, 1933, and in conformity with the actual facts, the Separate Union of the Zionist-Revisionists must be regarded as dissolved and non-existent. 2. No Zionist group, party or faction has the right to be regarded as a ' Separate Union of Zionist-Revisionists ' or so to style itself. 3. This brief communication was followed on January 23rd by a more explicit statement of the Executive, which, .after expressing disapproval of the action of the Revisionists, went on to say : The Jewish Agency is the only body which is recognised in the Mandate as representing Jewish interests in regard to the establishment of the Jewish National Home in Palestine. The Jewish Agency alone is entitled to conduct Jewish policy in relation to the Mandatory Power, and no other body can claim the right to act politically in this 36
