have not joined the united new Separate Union and continued their existence in Congress Poland, East and West Galicia, have been informed that owing to the dissolution of the former Separate Union " Hitachduth," its branch groups have also lost their right to separate existence and can therefore continue their activity legally only as part of a Federation or of a recognised Separate Union. The branch groups of the " Ichud " have at their disposal a number of papers of their own or are in close contact with them (both weeklies and dailies), of which the following deserve special mention : Davar and Hapoel Hazair (Palestine), Judischer Kämpfer (America), Das Naie Wort (Poland), Wort (Lithuania). 3. The Order of Ancient Maccabeans, whose office is in Manchester, combines Zionist activity with the special objects of a friendly society. Achvah " (Galicia); among the Mizrachi, " Hapoel Hamizrachi " and " Zeiré Mizrachi "; among the Labour camp, " Hashomer Hazair," " Gordonia," " Freiheit," (Poale Zion youth); and in Palestine, " Hanoar Haoved " and " Bacharuth Socialistith." Among the Hachshara organisations the " Hechaluz Haolami " is the most important. There are also the " Hechaluz Hamizrachi " and the " Hechaluz Haklal Zioni," in whose ranks a split has lately taken place (parallel to the differentiation in the General Zionist camp). Side by side with the Hechaluz associations there have been formed in East European countries provisional organisations of 18
