122 A Fragment of tlie Fassorer Hagadah. By Julius H• Greenglone, Philadelphia. The extracts given below are from a fragment of the Passover Hagadah in the Collection of Genizah fragments in the possessiön of Mr. David Werner Amram of Philadelphia, lt is a .small booklet, 5 X 3 1/1 inches, consisting of 22 pages, the first and last pages of which are badly matilated and hardly legible. It is probably a part of a larger book containing prayers for various occasions. The first page contains the conclusion of the blessings for the Haftarah, with bat few unimportant variations. Although in the main this fragment agrees with fragment II in the. Collection of Geniza fragments of the Hagadah pablished by Mr. Israel Abrahams (JQR. vol. X, pp. 41—51), there are here several carions features deserving of attention. The most notable Variation in this text is the Collection of benedictions preceding the מה נשתנה. No parallel for this is found in the various printed texts or collections of Minhagim, as far as could be ascertained. Other changes will be noted below in the course of the description of the text. The Hagadah itself begins on p. 2, which is headed קדוש פסח. lt begins with the Messing over the wine and continaes the Kiddush with but slight changes, conclading with כי בו עשה י׳י אלהנו נס'ם וגבורות לאהביו ונפלאות לבני ידידיו בחך אתה י׳י מקדש ישראל והשגת וחג המצות ומועדי שמחה והזמנים ומקראי קדש') This is followed by the ברכת הומן. Then follows the collection of benedictions alladed to abovo, in the following Order: 1) Comp.
