- 'אל כבוד הנגיד התורני השלם השר המפורסם והנסיב מוה' גבריאל פרענקל נר"ו פרנס פרימוס בקהלת עדת ישראל הקדושה פראג והמדינה יע"א': ההקדמה ממוענת אל גבריאל פרענקל פרנס קהילת פראג על ידי המתרגם. הוא טוען כי הוא נחשף בספרי רפואה ל"מאורעות נוראות ואיומות... מבני אדם אשר נקברו חיים בהחשבם מתים?", עמ' [2]. הוא חושב שהיהודים לא יודעים על כך ולכן ממשיכים במנהג קבורת המתים שלהם. זו הסיבה שהחליט לתרגם לעברית את דברי הרופא הרץ ולשלוח לגבריאל בפראג 50, שיפיצם בקרב היהודים.
