ЗУСМАН Леонид Павлович (1906, Гродно – 1984, Москва), график, живописец. Учился в частных студиях Ф.И.Рерберга и А.Э.Миганаджиана в Москве, в 1-х Гос. свобод, худ. мастерских (1 ГСХМ) в классе И.И.Машкова (1919–23), а также во ВХУТЕИНе в Ленинграде у К.С.Петрова-Водкина (1924–26) и во ВХУТЕИНе в Москве у Д.П.Штеренберга (1926–30). Илл. и оформ. кн. для ГИХЛа, «Детгиза», «Гослитиздата» и т.д., всегда соблюдая верность стилю писателя («Повесть о рыжем Мотеле» И.П.Уткина, «Легенда об Уленшпигеле» Ш. де Костера, собр. соч. А.Л.Барто в 3-х тт., «Лирика» И.-В.Гете и др). В 1941–44 рис. для фронтовых газет. Работал в обл. театр.-декор. иск-ва, оформлял спектакли в Одесском евр. т-ре («Блуждающие звезды» по ром. Шолом-Алейхема, 1939), Моск. т-ре сатиры и др. Значит. место в творчестве 3. занимает станков, произв.: живописные («Бильярд», 1927; «Зима», 1937 и т.д.), графические («Портрет жены», акв., 1940; «П.И.Багратион», цв. автолитогр., 1944 и др.).
