ВИТУХНОВСКАЯ Софья Семеновна (1912, Павлово Нижегородской губ. – 2000, Москва), живописец. Училась в студии А.С.Монка в Москве, реорганиз. позже в изотехникум ИзоГИЗа (1929—32) и в Ин-те повыш. квалификации худ.-живопис. (1935–37), в мастерских С.В.Герасимова и Б.В.Иогансона.В 1937–40 жила и работала в Комсомольске-на-Амуре, где преподавала в создан. ею детской изостудии, оформляла спектакли в гор. т-ре и выполнила маслом серию портретов, пейзажей и жанр. композиций, посвящ. этому городу. В 1940 возвращается в Москву и начинает работать в станков, графике, гл. обр. в жанре портрета. В 1970-е гг. много путешествует и создает мн. пейзажей в технике офорта, сух. иглы, акв., карандаши, рис. В последн. десятилетия В. работает над циклами портретов: среди ее героинь изв. спортсменки, деятели культуры и иск-ва.С 1937 участвует в выставках, в т.ч. за рубежом.
