ВЕЙЦЕНФЕЛЬД Шебсель Павлович (1896, Вильна – 1981, Москва), публицист. Р. в семье типогр. наборщика. За участие в рев. движении неск. раз. подвергался арестам польской жандармерии. С 1921 в СССР, окончил Коммунистич. ун-т для народов Запада (1925), работал в Гл. бюро евр. секций при ЦК КП Украины. С 1926 ред. центр. газ. «Дер идишер поер» в Харькове, затем газ. – «Дос социалистише дорф». Печатал в евр. газ. Москвы и Харькова ст. на темы сел. жизни, участвовал в орг-ции евр. периодич. печати в евр. нац. р-нах Украины и Крыма. Участник 2-й мир. войны. С нач. 1960-х гг. печатал восп. и др. мат-лы в ж. «Советиш геймланд». Большой интерес представляют очерки и восп.
