ТЫШКА (пс. Грозовский) Ян (Йогихес Лео) (1867, Вильна – 1919, Берлин), политический деятель. Муж Р.Люксембург. В 1885 – в кружках «Народной воли», в 1887 один из рук. марксистской гр. в Вильне. В 1888 арестован. С 1890 – в Швейцарии, принимал участие в работе гр. «Освобождение труда», был одним из основателей СДКПиЛ (1893), гл. ее идеологом. В 1893, вместе с Люксембург, Ю.Мархлевским и В.Варским, редактировал журн. «Справа работнича». С 1900 – в Германии. С 1903 чл. Гл. правления СДКПиЛ, в 1905–14 ее полит. рук., ред. парт. газ. «Червоны штандар», «Трибуна людова», «Трибуна». В 1905 вернулся в Россию, один из организаторов полит. стачки в Варшаве. В 1906 арестован и приговорен к 8 годам каторги. В 1907 бежал. Жил в Германии. Во время 1-й мир. войны один из организаторов и рук. гр. «Интернационале» (1915) и «Союза Спартака». В 1918 арестован. Освобожден после ноябр. рев-ции в Германии (1918). Вместе с Люксембург и К.Либкнехтом один из основателей Компартии Германии, секр. ЦК. Арестован в 1919. Убит в тюрьме.- identifier

Marxist gr. in Vilna. Arrested in 1888. From 1890 - in Switzerland, took part in the work of gr. "Emancipation of Labor", was one of the founders of SDKPiL (1893), ch. her ideologue. In 1893, together with Luxemburg, Y. Marhlevsky and V. Varsky, he edited the journal. "On the right is a worker." Since 1900 - in Germany. From 1903 p. Ch. reign SDKPiL, in 1905-14 its polit. hand., ed. school desks. gas. "Chervony Shtandar", "Tribune of Lyudov", "Tribune". In 1905 he returned to Russia, one of the organizers of the polit. strikes in Warsaw. In 1906 he was arrested and sentenced to 8 years in hard labor. He fled in 1907. Lived in Germany.
