В 1962–66 учился в ГИТИСе. В 1970 окончил ист. ф-т МОПИ. Работал методистом районных Домов пионеров и школьников, с 1975 зам. дир. Дворца пионеров им. Н.К.Крупской. С 1980 ст. науч. сотр. АПН СССР.
