СМУЛЕВИЧ Болеслав (Боас) Яковлевич (1894, Влоцлавек Варшавской губ. – 1981, Москва), социал-гигиенист, демограф. Д-р мед. наук (1956). Учился на мед. ф-те Варшавского ун-та. За участие в рев. движении был арестован немецкими властями. Мед. образование получил в Венском ун-те (1918–22) и Социал-гигиенич. академии в Берлине (1923). С 1923 – в СССР. Работал в Белорусском гос. ун-те на кафедре социальной гигиены медфака, один из ее организаторов (1923–28); в ЦСУ и Госплане СССР (1928–33), ст. науч. сотр. Ин-та экономики Коммунистич. академии (1933–38). В 1938–46 репрессирован. В 1946–49 – в Ин-те организации здравоохранения и истории медицины, в 1949–52 ассистент кафедры организации здравоохранения ЦИУ врачей, откуда уволен «как не имеющий мед. образования». С 1953 – вновь в Ин-те организации здравоохранения и истории медицины, в 1963–74 – в отд. демографии НИИ ЦСУ СССР. Пр. АМН им.
