СЛУЦКИЙ Борис Абрамович (1919, Славянск Изюмского у. Харьковской губ. – 1986, Москва), поэт. Окончил Моск. юрид. ин-т (1941), Лит. ин-т им. А.М.Горького (1941). В 1941–45 – на фронте. Первые стихи опубл. в 1941. Первая кн. «Память» вышла в 1957 при содействии И.Г.Эренбурга. В последующие годы издал мн. поэтич. сб-ков: «Время» (1959), «Работа» (1964), «Доброта дня» (1973), «Сроки» (1984) и др. Писал критич. ст. на лит. темы, переводил с идиша. Под ред. С. впервые в СССР был издан сб. «Поэты Израиля» (1963). Гражданственность поэзии С. сочетается с подчеркнуто простой, «разговорной» манерой поэтич. изложения. Жизненный и лит. опыт, личное восприятие событий обусловили трагичность и пессимизм творчества С. Одним из первых в сов. лит-ре выступил против культа личности И.Сталина.
