СЛАВИН (Бас) Иосиф Еремеевич (1893 – 1938), военачальник. Армейский комиссар 2-го ранга. Окончил юрид. ф-т. ун-та. Участник 1-й мир. войны, был в герм. плену. С 1917 чл. РСДРП(б). С 1921 – в РККА. Участник Гражд. войны. В 1923–25 чл. РВС Туркфронта, с 1925 пом., с 1927 зам. нач. ПУРККА, с 1930 – чл. РВС и нач. Политуправления ЛВО. С 1935 нач. УВВУЗ РККА. В 1938 арестован, расстрелян.
