- СИГАЛ Эстер (1895, Солобковцы Ушицкого у. Подольской губ. – 1974, Израиль), поэт. Сестра Н.Сигала. В детстве жила в Кореце Волынской губернии, где отец был кантором. С 1910 – в Канаде. Работала в швейной мастерской и училась в вечерней школе, в Нью-йоркском учительском институте. Писать начала рано, но впервые опубл. стих. в 1922 в альманахе «Эпоха». Печатала стихи в литературных изданиях Канады и США, газ. Вильно и Варшавы. В 1928 в Торонто вышел сб. «Лидер» («Стихотворения»). С кон. 1920-х гг. – в Э.-И.

Since 1910 - in Canada. She worked in a sewing workshop and studied at night school at the New York Teachers' Institute. She began to write early, but for the first time publ. verse. in 1922 in the anthology "Epoch". Published poetry in literary publications in Canada and the USA, gas. Vilna and Warsaw. In 1928 in Toronto came Sat. "Leader" ("Poems"). From the end. 1920s - in E.-I.
