ШВАРЦЕР Владимир (Веньямин) Ефимович (1892, Одесса – 1978, Москва), актер, режиссер. В 1908 вступил в труппу т-ра П.Гиршбейна. В 1914–16 – на фронте. В 1916 попал в австр. плен. Организовал в лагере военнопленных еврейский театр. коллектив. В 1918 вернулся в Россию, основал т-р «Ундзер винкль» (1918), позже (1923) труппу, игравшую на Украине и в Белоруссии. С 1925 в труппе Одесского ГОСЕТа, с 1935 его худож. рук. Сыграл ведущие роли в спектаклях «Тевье-молочник» Шолом-Алейхема, «Колдунья» по А.Голдфадену, «Гершеле Острополер» М.Гершензона и др. С 1942 – в Моск. ГОСЕТе. После его закрытия (1949) – в Центр. дет. т-ре. В 1962 создал Еврейский драм. анс. при Москонцерте, где поставил: «Испанцы» М.Ю.Лермонтова, «200 000», «Тевье-молочник» (сыграл заглавную роль), «Заколдованный портной» (все – по Шолом-Алейхему) и др.
