Работы в обл. топологии, теории категорий, функц. анализа, вариац. исчисления; занимался применением матем. методов в теории поля и статистич. физике. Иссл. по топологич. структуре нетривиальных частицеподобных и струноподобных решений классич. ур-ний движения, матем. проблемам супергравитации и теории суперструн.
