- ШТЕЙН Владислав (пс. Краевский, Домбровский, Боровский) (1886, Варшава – 1937), политический деятель. Брат Х.Штейна. С 1904 чл. СДКПиЛ. В 1910–14 – в тюрьме и ссылке. Участник Междунар. социалистич. конф. в Кинтале (1916). С 1916 рук. Варшавской орг-ции СДКПиЛ, чл. Гл. правления. С 1918 – в Компартии Польши (КПП), чл. ЦК в 1920–21, чл. Политбюро в 1923–29. Один из ведущих деятелей т. н. «большинства» во время фракц. борьбы в КПП. С 1930 – в СССР. В 1930–31 сотр. Ин-та Ленина при ЦК ВКП(б), в 1931–37 – Исполкома Коминтерна. Репрессирован.
