ШИФРИН Лев Калманович (1911, Баку – 1989, Москва), организатор промышленного производства. Окончил Бакинский политехн. ин-т (1932). В 1932–33 инж. проектного отд. стр-ва Забайкальской ж. д. В 1933–40 – на ф-ке «Клинволокно» (инж., гл. инж. управления кап. стр-ва). С 1940 гл. инж. отд. кап. стр-ва Гл. управления искусств. волокна Наркомтекстиля. В 1941–45 – в армии, в 1942–43 – на фронте. В 1943–45 зам. дир. воен. з-да по произ-ву пороха в Кустанае. С 1945 нач. отд. кап. стр-ва, в 1949–88 зам. нач. Гл. управления пром-сти искусств. волокна. С нач. 1950-х гг. участвовал в создании произ-ва хим. волокон, руководил разработкой проектов новых з-дов и обеспечением их оборудованием.
