В 1909–14 врач в Минске, в 1914–22 воен. хирург. В 1923–41 и 1945–57 – в Минском мед. ин-те, где в 1927 организовал и возглавил первую в Белоруссии кафедру ортопедии. В 1941–45 гл. хирург эвакогоспиталей и зам. наркома здравоохранения КиргССР, одноврем. зав. кафедрой госпитальной хирургии Фрунзенского мед. ин-та. В 1945–50 дир. Белорусского НИИ ортопедии и восстановительной хирургии, одноврем. гл. травматолог БССР и зав. кафедрой ортопедии и воен.-полевой хирургии Минского мед. ин-та. Разрабатывал методы хирургич. лечения заболеваний позвоночника, др. костей и суставов. Организатор ортопедич. помощи в Белоруссии.
