СЕЙНЕНСКИЙ Акива Ехескиелевич (Ефимович) (р. 1928, Самара), педагог, краевед. Канд. пед. наук (1969). Окончил ист. ф-т Куйбышевского гос. пед. ин-та (1950) и Всес. юрид. заочный ин-т (1951). С 1950 преп. истории и обществоведения в техникуме и школах Куйбышева, с 1965 – преп., зам. дир. эксперим. школы АПН РСФСР в Горках Моск. обл., одноврем. с 1970 ст. науч. сотр. НИИ содержания и методов обучения АПН СССР (с 1995 – Ин-т общего среднего образования РАО), с 1994 науч. рук. опытной площадки эксперим. Центра краеведения, этнографии и экскурсий Мин-ва образования РФ (Самара). Под рук. С. создан Музей истории школы в Горках, к-рый в 1981 включен в состав Гос. ист. заповедника «Горки Ленинские». Осн. направления иссл.: теоретич. основы, содержание и методика ист. краеведения в школе; изучение в нац. школах, в т. ч. еврейских, истории местных этносов, прошлого своей нац. общины. Впервые разработал матричную программу изучения школьниками истории своей семьи, села, города, области, края, к-рая включена в методич. пособие С. «Родной край: страницы истории» (М., 1994), участвовал в разработке ряда методич. документов Мин-ва просвещения РСФСР и СССР, в т. ч. «Положения о школьном музее» (1974, 1985).
