- РОЗЕНБЕРГ Иегуда-Юдл (1860, Скарышев Радомского у. и губ. – 1935, Монреаль, Канада), раввин. Родился в семье раввина. В 1880 сдал экзамен на звание раввина. С 1885 раввин в Тарлуве, затем в Люблине и Варшаве, с 1900 – в Лодзи. С 1912 раввин польск. евреев в Торонто, с 1918 Союза ортодокс, общин в Канаде. Автор раввин, кн. на идише, к-рые пользовались большой популярностью, особенно кн. на мед. темы. Р. принадлежат также работы о фольклоре, неск. кн. легенд и ист. рассказов, в т.ч. «Дер шполер зейде» («Дедушка из Шполы», Лодзь, 1926).
