- РОЙТМАН Эфраим (1910, Хотин Бессарабской губ. – 1982, Петах-Тиква, Израиль), поэт, писатель. Учился на филологич. ф-те Черновицкого ун-та. Участник 2-й мир. войны. Печатал стихи, рассказы и лит.-критич. статьи в журн. «Советиш геймланд», газ. «Фолкс-штиме» и «Шрифтн» (Варшава), «Нае прессе» (Париж) и др. периодич. изд. В 1937 издал в Черновцах сб. стихов «Фингер ин лихт» («Пальцы на свету»). С 1972 – в Израиле. В Тель-Авиве вышли сб. «Ойфн йндзл фун зен» («С точки зрения», 1975), «Ди эрд зингт» («Земля поет», 1977). В Израиле изданы произв. Р. в переводе на иврит.
