- РОТЕНБУРГ Иосиф Соломонович (1908 – 1983, Саратов), инженер-мостостроитель. Канд. техн. наук. После окончания вуза участвовал в сооружении крупных автодорожных и ж.-д. мостов. Преподавал в Саратовском автодорожном ин-те (позже Политехн. ин-т). Внес значит, вклад в развитие мостовой гидравлики и гидрологии. В 1960-е гг. одним из первых в СССР произвел гидравлич. расчеты групповых отверстий, предложил методы расчета подпора уровня воды на мостовых переходах, метод расчета подмостового русла; позже развил эти методы с применением ЭВМ. Автор науч. ст., монографий, учебников для вузов.

He taught at the Saratov Automobile Institute (later Polytechnic Institute). He made a significant contribution to the development of bridge hydraulics and hydrology.
