ПЕРГАМЕНТ Осип Яковлевич (1868, Феодосия Таврической губ. – 1909, Петербург), юрист, общественный деятель. Брат М.Я.Пергамента. В 1891 окончил матем. отд-ние физ.-матем. ф-та Новоросийского ун-та (Одесса), преподавал математику в гимназии, автор ряда попул. очерков по физике. В студенч. годы принял православие. В нач. 1890-х гг. увлекся юриспруденцией, в 1894 сдал экзамен при юрид. гос. комиссии и вступил в адвокатуру. Выступал защитником на полит. процессах, написал ряд работ по гражд. и торг. праву, был гласным Одесской гор. думы, пред. Совета присяжных поверенных Одесского суд. округа. В 1907 избран деп. 2-й Гос. Думы от Одессы. После ее разгона избран деп. 3-й Гос. Думы от 1-й курии Одессы. Во 2-й Гос. Думе поддерживал борьбу деп.-евреев за изменение формулы правительств, законопроекта предусматривающего отмену всех вероисповедных ограничений «за исключением еврейских».
