ПЕРЕЛЬМАН Арон Филиппович (1876, Одесса – 1954, Ленинград), издатель, общественный деятель. Получил традиц. еврейское религ. образование, экстерном сдал экзамены за курс гимназии. В 1896–1903 изучал химию в ун-тах Германии, в 1904–05 – в Цюрихском ун-те. В Швейцарии сблизился с рус. рев. эмигрантами, слушал лекции Г.В.Плеханова. Вернувшись в Россию, поселился в Петербурге, служил в издат. фирме «Брокгауз-Ефрон». После смерти И.А.Ефрона П. выкупил у его сына права наследования и стал владельцем изд-ва, расширил сферу его деятельности, начал выпускать учебники. В 1917 по списку Еврейской нар. партии избран в Исполком Петрогр. еврейской общины и в ее Совет, рук. соц.-экон. комиссией. В 1918 дел. съезда представителей еврейских общин в Москве. Участвовал в работе ОПЕ и Еврейского ист.-этногр. об-ва (чл. его к-та и музейной комиссии), один из организаторов Еврейской худ. выставки (не состоялась в связи с закрытием об-ва).
