ПЕКАРСКИЙ Марк Ильич (р. 1940, Москва), музыкант. В 1969 окончил Моск. гос. муз.-пед. ин-т им. Гнесиных по кл. ударных инстр-тов у В.П.Штеймана. В 1965–90 солист анс. «Мадригал». В 1973 организовал и возглавил «Ансамбль ударных инструментов Марка Пекарского». П. выступает и как солист, используя ударные инстр-ты народов мира из собств. коллекции. Игру П. отличают совершенная техника владения всеми, даже самыми необычными инстр-тами, артистизм, театральность. Специально для П. пишут свои произв. С.А.Губайдулина, Э.В.Денисов, А.Г.Шнитке, В.И.Мартынов, В.А.Екимовский, А.А.Кнайфелъ и др. композиторы. Много выступает за рубежом как солист и ансамб-лист, участвует в междунар. муз. фестивалях.
