ПАПИСМЕДОВ Илья Шаломович (1902, Цхинвал Тифлисской губ. – 1980, Бат-Ям, Израиль), историк, музейный работник. В 1938–41 и 1948–50 – науч. сотр., в 1949–50 дир. Ист.-этногр. музея евреев Грузии, в «Трудах» к-рого опубл. иссл. «К истории торговли груз. евреев» (т. 1, 1941 и т. 3, 1945) и ст. «Самоучка-художник Шалом Кобошвили и его творчество» (т. 2, 1941). С 1950 зав. музейно-выставочным отд. Центр. респ. дома культуры. Под рук. и при участии П. в Грузии открыт ряд краеведческих и мемориальных музеев. С 1980 – в Израиле.
