ПАЛАТНИК Шмуэль (| – |), публицист, переводчик, педагог, общественный деятель. В ноябре 1918 участвовал в работе Врем. нац. собрания евреев Украины (Киев). Совм. с А.Брахманом, Г.Томсинским выпустил в 1928 хрестоматию «Класнкамф» («Классовая борьба»), посв. истории классовой борьбы и рев. движения в России. Был ред. «Аф ди вегн цу дер наер шул», чл. редколлегии журн. «Дер апикойрес», «Пионер», издававшихся в Харькове и Москве в кон. 1920-х – нач. 1930-х гг.
