Евреи из Нарвы и др. городов, а также из Финляндии приезжали в Н.-Й. на летний отдых. В Н.-Й. действовал постоянный миньян. In 1902–40 in N.-J. a hydropathic establishment worked, a cut was directed by Dr. Emil Zeldman. Jews from Narva and other cities, as well as from Finland, came to N.-J. for summer vacation. In N.-J. there was a permanent minyan. There was a kosher restaurant. In the summer of 1941 the majority of Jews N.-J. evacuated to the east. districts of the USSR.
