МЕНАКЕР Александр Семенович (1913, Петербург – 1982, Москва), артист эстрады, режиссер. В 1929 поступил на актерское отд-ние 1-й худ. студии при Большом драм. т-ре, в 1930 перешел на реж. ф-т Ин-та сцснич. иск-ва. С 1932 работал в Гос. объединении музыки, эстрады и цирка и в Ленгорэстраде, исполняя муз. пародии и фельетоны. С 1933 – в Ленингр. мюзик-холле, с 1934 актер, реж., с 1935 и худ. рук. в Джаз-театре Всеукр. Дома Кр. Армии в Харькове. В 1936–38 – в Ленингр. мюзик-холле. В 1939 – в Моск. т-ре эстрады и миниатюр, где впервые выступил с М.В.Мироновой с муз. юморесками. В 1942 М. был постановщиком антифаш. программы «Вот и хорошо!», автором и исполнителем муз. фельетона «Молитесь за него!» (на стихи В.А.Дыховичного. Один из реж. программы «Москвичи – земляки» (1942). В 1948, после закрытия т-ра, М. и Миронова начали выступать самостоятельно. Среди их первых совм. работ: «Московские встречи» В.З.Масса и М.А.Червинского, «Знакомые портреты» Л.Давидович и Червинского и др. Миниатюра «На футболе» Б.С.Ласкина, входившая в спектакль «Когда мы отдыхаем» (1953, Эстрадный т-р сада «Эрмитаж»), принесла известность дуэту. М. и Миронова участвовали в программе т-ра «Эрмитаж» «Вот идет пароход» (1954, М. был одним из реж.). С 1954 М. и Миронова – в Моск. т-ре эстрады до его закрытия. В эти годы Т-р двух актеров – Мироновой и М. (дир. и худ. рук.) выпустил спектакль «Говорящие письма», обозрение «В нашем доме» (гл. обр. на тексты Ласкина), спектакль «Дела семейные» (1954), основой к-рого стала пьеса Ласкина «Слушается дело о разводе».
