МЕЛАМЕД Борух Моисеевич (1886, Маляты Виленской губ. – 1980, Киев), публицист, педагог. В 1900–10-х гг. активист Бунда. В годы 1-й мир. войны жил в Саратове, где работал в к-те помощи беженцам. В 1921 учился на филос. ф-те Берлинского ун-та и одноврем. сотрудничал в торговом представительстве сов. посольства. С 1924 жил в Одессе, преподавал философию, был деканом еврейского отд-ния Одесской парт. школы, активным деятелем в обл. еврейского образования. В 1927–31 чл. редколлегии, затем ред. журн. «Одесер арбетер», печатался в газ. «Дер штерн», «Дер эмес», в др. периодич. изд., выпустил ряд методич. пособий по педагогике. В 1937 репрессирован.
