МАСТБАУМ Михаил Ильич (1892, Казань – 1961, Таллин), терапевт, фтизиатр. Мед. образование получил в Страсбургском (1909–14) и Казанском (1915) ун-тах. В годы 1-й мир. войны служил в действующей армии мл. врачом полка, ординатором див. лазарета. В 1918–22 в Кр. Армии (ординатор, гл. врач эвакогоспиталя, нач. терапевтич. отд-ния воен. госпиталя); одноврем. (с 1920) работал в созданном при его участии Казанском ин-те для усовершенствования врачей, где в 1929 избран приват-доц. терапевтич. клиники, в 1931 возглавил кафедру туберкулеза (с 1932 проф.). С 1935 дир. Казанского ин-та туберкулеза, в 1939–42 зав. кафедрой госпитальной терапии Сталинградского мед. ин-та; в 1942–43 зав. кафедрой терапии Казанского ин-та для усовершенствования врачей и гл. терапевт эвакогоспиталей Казани. Гл. терапевт Тихоокеанского (1943–45) и Балтийского (1945–47) флотов. В 1948–52 рук. сектором внутр. болезней Ин-та эксперим. медицины АН ЭССР.
