ЛУРЬЕ Моисей Аронович (1876, Гомель Могилевской губ. – 1964, Москва), химик. Участник рев. движения. В 1896 был арестован, выслан в Якутию. С 1902 на нелегальном положении, работал в к-тах РСДРП (в Екатеринославе, Екатеринбурге, Перми и др. гор.). Окончил в 1911 Петерб. технолог. ин-т. С 1911 секр. ред. техн. энциклопедии в изд-ве «Просвещение». В 1914–18 зав. производственно-техн. частью з-да по переработке щелочных и масляных отходов в Баку. С 1918 в ВСНХ РСФСР. В 1920 возглавил з-д «Богатырь» в Москве, затем был чл. правления Резинового треста ВСНХ РСФСР и дир. асбестовой ф-ки в Переславле-Залесском. С 1931 возглавлял техн. отд. в управлении по стр-ву и эксплуатации з-дов синтетич. каучука ВСНХ СССР. В 1934 руководил созданием, а затем возглавил кафедру синтетич. каучука в Ин-те тонкой хим. технологии им. М.В.Ломоносова. В 1939 организовал подготовку специалиста по технологии синтетич. каучука в Пром. академии им. И.В.Сталина. В 1941–42 работал на эвакуированном в Казань Ленингр. з-де синтетич. каучука.
